Job Scope:
Ship and receive equipment; assist clients; drive company vans for pick-ups and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write up return jobs utilizing Return Receipts.
• Receive jobs through the Pinnacle system and check for damage to items.
• Ship jobs through the Pinnacle system by manually typing and scanning items into the computer.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms.
• Deliver/pick up various items (up to 50 lbs.) using company vans.
• Clean all cases and put into storage rooms.
• Maintain barcodes and labels on all Panavision gear
• Ensure that the shipping and receiving area is kept clean and organized per health and safety standards.
Skills/Experience Required:
• Working knowledge of cinema equipment housed at Panavision Hollywood.
• Knowledge of the operations of Panavision Hollywood.
• Knowledge of internal shipping & receiving policies and procedures.
• Proper handling of equipment.
• Proficiency with internal camera rental tracking system
• Understanding of Panavision’s health and safety requirements.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and drivers.
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify damaged equipment.
• Ability to multitask and remain flexible towards changes in scheduled duties on a daily basis.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints, yet maintaining high performance standards and output.
• Ability to work on own initiative without constant supervision.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• Must be able to drive company van, possess a valid driver’s license and maintain clean DMV record for indemnification purposes.

This job operates in a professional office environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to lift product or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position works standard business hours, Monday-Friday, but may require long hours (8-10+ hour days) and 1-2 Saturdays per year to conduct company annual inventory count.
Travel:
Some out-of-state/country and overnight travel may be expected.
