The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Group Finance Controller to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract (FTC) in Pasadena, Hayes.

In this role, you will manage and ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.  You will provide assistance and build relationships within the business, and in particular, the Group Finance Director.

To be successful in this high-impact role, we are looking for a blend of technical expertise and people-focused leadership.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support the Group Finance Director in the day-to-day running of the accounts department, maintaining effective process controls and providing training and development for staff.
  • Provide timely, accurate management information (monthly accounts and forecasts) to achieve group goals.
  • Utilise experience in UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS readiness. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS102.
  • Build relationships with overseas counterparts to ensure seamless consolidation of management information, variance analysis, and revenue forecasts.
  • Review and re-engineer processes to achieve efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Manage cash flows, banking relationships, budgets, audits, and statutory accounts. Oversee VAT/CT compliance and the asset database.
  • Support the Finance Director in raising asset finance and handle the reconciliation and reporting of the Bank of America ABL (BBC).
What You’ll Bring
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience (PQE) in a group environment.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS102, UK GAAP, and US GAAP. Experience with IFRS conversions is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing and developing an accounts team, with a focus on high performance and operational excellence.
  • Experience managing complex consolidations, overseas entity reporting, and multi-currency cash flow forecasting.
  • Proactive approach to re-engineering legacy processes and an advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Asset Based Lending (ABL) reporting and maintaining corporate banking relationships is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between the Pasadena office and our global counterparts, with the resilience to "roll up your sleeves" and support the team during peak periods.
