The Role:
We are searching for a Camera Technician to join the Technical Team in our Cape Town Operations Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and repair of the full range of Panavision camera gear and accessories.

The Role:
We are searching for a Camera Technician to join the Technical Team in our Cape Town Operations Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and repair of the full range of Panavision camera gear and accessories.
What you’ll do:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions across the Panavision range.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and fine-tuning to ensure gear is rental-ready and performing to specification.
- Partner with the Rentals department to provide expert troubleshooting and support for clients and camera crews.
- Manage spare parts, track consumables, and maintain meticulous records of all repairs and system configurations.
- Demonstratable camera prep experience, preferably in a rental house setting.
- Knowledge of Panavision products and our services.
- Highly motivated and self-starter.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive in seeking out new knowledge and skills.
- A valid South African driver's license (Code B).
